  1. One of my high school memories while I was in Banjarmasin..
I was on the second grade that time..
Me with all my classmate went to the mountains of Borneo, to having a field study about geography..
It was in the night, we (the boys) take the bus.. While the girls used cars to reach the village at the mountain where we stay..
The road was completely narrow, at the left or right we can only just seen deep dark holes or maybe tress..
3 times our engine bus stopped working..
I think we are lucky to be not having any fatal accident..
Because the next day, when we return at the evening with that road..
We just can only seen steep valleys around us, we are lucky enough that bus doesn't lose it balance and fall into it..
Because the next year, I heard about the news that the bus that taken by the other class is experiencing a near death situation where they on the way to go to the same village at the mountain,
Because their bus slipped to the valley, luckily no one is injured..
I think that was my second or third time near death moment..

  2. I ever had bad experience when I was in senior high school. The last day of student orientation program, my goup had to play drama. I played as Katrina. From the begining of the drama, I already knew that my senior will bully us. Then, it was my turn to perform. I was very surprised that one of my senior in second floor threw away a plate to me. I was very shocked and run away. The worst thing was my senior always try to bully me after that event until they graduate from my senior high school.

  3. I want to tell you about my weird teacher at third grade. In my school, we always change teacher and class every semester because my school is using SKS system. So, sometimes we do not have the 'right' teacher because of that. One of that teacher is my physics teacher at my fifth semester. Everytime he attended the class, no one ever listening to him. I think you want to know what the reason(s), don't you? Well, the reason is because no one understand what he talked about. I have tried to sit in front of the class and listened every words he said but still, I did not understand what he meant. He also make simple calculation became long and difficult. He really made such a difficult situation for us when mid-term or final exams came.
My friends already surrendered in this lesson. They would fight for back seats. They chat, watched videos from youtube, even played guitar!
Sometimes there are some students that sat under the table and ate breakfast there.
We always cheated from book on daily exam because we did not understand and he always gave exams based on his notes at whiteboard. That's the only way to save our score. So, the most important thing was just always take notes from what he wrote on the whiteboard.
I wish I would never have this kind of teacher anymore.

  4. In Yogyakarta and you study in state school it means that you have involved in cruelty of student in yogyakarta and I have experienced many times although I never join gang like that but the "Crazy" student was brutal, impudent. They do not care whether you join the gang or not, as long as you study in the opponent school so they think we deserve to be crushed.

  5. One of my unforgettable memories in high school is when I painted the wall of my classroom with my friends. There was a class competition which ordered us to design our own classroom. We had an idea to draw the shadow of a town and to paint it with wall-paint. My friends and I really felt tired for 2 days since we always painted the room after school. Even though we were tired, we could gather and know each other. In the end, we got first place in the competition. I also found my best friends and we are still best friends until now.

  6. There's an annual event in my High School called PENSAGA. It's a kind of performance arts (pentas seni)presented by the students. It is usually held in October and invite famous group band to perform with the students. In PENSAGA 2010, i was trusted by the committee of PENSAGA to be a liaison officer for one of the famous bands that would perform on the event, RAN. Liaison Officer is the one who is responsible for the artist. It was so challenging for me. I have to pick them up on the airport, make sure that everything they want is served, and also make sure that they go to the venue safely.
That's one of the most unforgettable high school moments ever.

  7. I think I do not have a really 'huge' thing happened to me in high school times. But in elementary school is a different story. I remember being very coward those times in elementary school. When I was in third grade, there were no day without me hit by ball. Any kind of ball; basket ball, tennis ball, anything. And of course, that made me cry every single day. One day, it hit me. "Why do I have to cry all the time? It is just a ball. Why do I have to cry over it. It is not really that hurt, right?" Then, as usual I played baseball with my heart rushing, aware of the ball hitting me. As usual, with the blink of an eye, the ball landed really hard on my left eye closed. It was ultimately hurt. I acted tough, acted that it was not a big deal. But it hurt so bad, i pulled my self out of the game. I went to the class, locked my self in. I sit down and burst into cry. Well, that wasn't the last time ball landed on me. But I know for sure, this was the most dramatic one.

  8. Highschool is a memorable part in my life. When I look back at high school I am both amused and disappointed by how I spent the years between 14 and 17. There were a ton of things I wanted to do with my life back then, but pretty much none of them happened. I did have some good friends, but mostly I had a lot of embarrassing and pathetic moments. I remember one day on tuesday , when I wore a wrong dress to school. I was wearing a uniform that should be used on wednesday. I was looked so weird and being a public attention. I was so embarrassed. So, all day long i just sat down in class with a teasing by my friends. I cant forget that moment, but sometimes I laugh like an idiot when i remember that cool moment.

  9. For me, the high school was the turning point of my awareness about life. I went to public schools, and it was my first education experience in public schools. There, I learned a lot about differences. Private schools generally have students with similar backgrounds. At first, I was very shocked by all the difference. Especially the school that I attended is not the one I was expecting. I wanted to go to Fatan’s or Liren’s or SMAN 70, but I was accepted in SMAN 47 which was my and Gilang’s school. The ambience was different with other public school. My school, prioritize education above all; very difficult to be creative or relax. I experienced various upheavals in argue and creativity. It requires all students to go to public universities, or not, straightly study abroad. There was a joke of my School “yang lain party kita ngaji” (while the other party, we pray). Even, to hold a prom night, I desperately need to unify aspirations and get approval. But it all resulted on self quality improvement. I gained social skill, motivation and ambition. I learned that it was not that easy to get everything you want. And I would proudly mention that my school is ranked in top 5, and had delivered 89% of my generation to the leading public universities. And minimum NEM requirement to go to my school is now 36.56. And of course, my prom went well. That was the best night in our entire high school-hood. There, we just realize that we had such a great life-time experience, priceless lessons, and incredible friends. I will never regret and forget of being a part of SMAN 47.

  11. My best moment in high school, it was at the first three day of the school which is the orientation day. There are two types of orientation, Morning and evening orientation, there is only about 40 minutes break from the first orientation and second. The Morning orientation is just like Simfoni, we have to dress all same, using same bag, same attribute, even we have to make a hat which made by a plastic ball. Doing a lot of task given by the senior and some typical of high school torture task. And the evening is more painful, it's kind of a torment and I can't explain it. But the most unforgettable moment is. And it turns to our class. The junior of aksel and sbi were helped by their senior to make the attribute which is not allowed by the orientation committee, somehow one of the committee know it (it is our fault because we make it in wamir, my school has two buildings, Kerkoff and Wamir) but then when the day of orientation come, yes it's true, all of us got a punishment, the pks (or tatib in feb) yelled at us and we have to sing in a basketball court and we also have to ask apologies from all classes.

  12. One of the things that I like the most from high school is about having a show in a band. It was a great time and gave a cool temptation to be in front of hundreds or maybe thousands of people yelled and sang together. I used to play in a band as a guitarist and in my opinion, being on stage is an awesome experiences.

  13. My favourite moment in high-school is when I am at the second grade..
My school had an event about the anniversary of our school..
And we held it at for 4 months..
When it is at the final days, where the event is at the climax..
The president of the committee is sick, and I was chosen to replace him..
It was challenging because I had to organize hundreds of people at that day and think about the funding that was deficit on that time..
But thank God, we made it to overcome the funding problems and the event is ran good enough..

  14. When i was in high school, i join the band extracurricular. And i really enjoyed being there.

Me and my band do stuff together. We watched concerts and festival, repairing and buy instrument, recording music, making riot plans to my teachers because they are really late to accept our permissions and permissions from other schools about participation in competition, and hang out together. We even went to the Jeruk Purut cemetery at midnight once hahaha.

But the moment i really enjoy is when we practice for competitions. Once we rearrange a traditional music Gundul-Gundul Pacul to be more pop and funk and used it for competition. We got good critics from the jury but we lost because the other band was better. But we were proud of our achievements. You can see it at youtube if you want hahaha my friend recorded it when i was playing. Give some comments if you want hahaha.

  15. I remember something epic happened when I was in high school. Two days ago was exactly two years ago the incident happened. I was in a school trip to Pangandaran. We stayed there for three days. On the second day, my six other friends, all girls, and I decided to go to the reservation forest there. After bargaining with the people there, we finally got a quite cheap guide to take us to the well-known waterfall in the forest. They said we would take 2-hours-walk to get there.
After 2 hours, we started to felt that there was something wrong with the direction we took. The guide,I clearly remember his name, Daryo, showed us disoriented attitude and looked nervous. Then we guessed we must have taken the wrong way. The path that we took was really rough and there were so many trees fell and stood on our way.
We then started to panic. We tried to call somebody from our school for help but the signal was too bad that we can not keep updating our location. In this situation, we forgot the purpose on doing the trip from the first place which was see the waterfall. We just wanted to get back to the dorm as soon as possible.
The guide himself, from what I saw, also panicked but he carelessly told our teacher that we ourselves who made it longer to get home. After repeatedly taking the wrong path, going round and round, crying and screaming for help, we found our way home and was picked up by our homeroom teacher. We were so emotional that we ran to him with teary eyes. So it was a 7-hours-walk without seeing any waterfall. Moreover, we still had to pay. But it was Daryo's boss who came to us and collected the bill.
I will never ever forget this memorable trip and Daryo.

  16. There’s not a lot of interesting things that happened during high school. But I like it when I often hangout with my friends. I like travelling and having some adventures together with them. Many place of recreation we have visited. Starting from Ancol with the fantasy world and sea world, and then the malls and karaoke places, and also we ever try to get into the TransJakarta bus together. How nice and fun it is to do such things with your closest friends.

  17. The best thing about high school is that I didn't have to be away from home. Living in Jogja by myself is fun and I enjoy it so much but sometimes I just miss being home with a lot of people taking care of me. After all, it's time to grow up, I guess.
